Our Tanzania
Tanzania is the heart and soul of everything we do.
We were living there in our twenties, trying to figure life out, when we started our mountain-climbing outfitting business. Over time, our guides, porters, cooks and crew became more than colleagues. They became family and the support system behind everything we built.
We also saw how thoughtfully managed travel could strengthen local economies and create meaningful opportunities. Tanzania became the birthplace of our belief that tourism can be a force for good.
There is something powerful about this place. Some of the earliest hominid fossils were discovered here, and our ancestors once crossed the plains of the Serengeti. That history creates a sense of wildness and connection that is difficult to describe until you experience it yourself.
Tanzania is our home and the foundation for everything that came afterward. This is where we learned how adventure, community and responsible travel can come together.
