Surfing Weligama
Day 1 – 6 · Weligama Bay, Sri Lanka
The main Weligama Bay is an excellent place to learn to surf, with soft sandy beach waves that rarely exceed one meter. The shallow, sandy bay and gentle waves suit beginners and young surfers. For advanced surfers, the winter season brings long point breaks, hollow reef breaks, and fun beach breaks along the south coast — surf between 2–8ft with glassy morning conditions.
- Winter season: 1 November – 30 April (all spots working)
- Summer season: 1 May – 31 October (offshore winds, surf all day)
- Shoulder season: biggest waves and favourable winds
- Famous island right in front of Ceylon Sliders — a fun longboard wave
- Waves for all levels — beginners to advanced

Wild Coast Tented Lodge
Day 6 – 9 · Yala National Park, Sri Lanka
Wild Coast Tented Lodge sits adjacent to Yala National Park, renowned for its high population of leopards — the highest density in the world. This spectacular luxury tented camp is situated on a rugged beach overlooking the Indian Ocean. Arched fabric structures allow each of the 28 tents to take on the shape and color of the rocks and boulders scattered nearby, while a clever layout in the shape of a leopard's paw print alludes to the area's most famous resident.
- 28 canvas cocoons blending seamlessly into the landscape
- Open-air bamboo-clad Ten Tuskers bar and Dining Pavilion
- Daily-changing menus of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine
- Sundowner cocktails and picnics on the sand dunes
- Excellent wildlife views — leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and more

Surfing Niyama
Day 9 – 14 · Dhaaalu Atoll, Maldives
Off the beaten track. Uncrowded waves. High quality breaks. Welcome to Nature's Playground — the only luxury surf resort in the Maldives with its own wave breaking right onto the shore at Vodi Point. Just off Niyama's Play Island, Vodi is a powerful and sometimes hollow left-hander. Five minutes away by speedboat, Kasabu is a rippable and hollow right-hander suited to intermediate and advanced surfers.
- Vodi Point — walk to the point and paddle out, no boat transfer needed
- Kasabu — world-class right-hander, 10 mins by boat
- Vodi works best in north-to-easterly winds, exposed to south/southwest swells
- Beginner-friendly when small; intermediate to advanced when bigger
- Seaplane available to any wave in the Maldives
