Options to explore, cross over into Kenya, hike multiple peaks over 16,000 ft / 4000 meters through at least 4 different habitat zones. A great destination – sure! East African is a destination that you can come back to many times, and each country offers a range of experiences from extreme altitude, varied cultures, remote and urban environments and of course plenty of wild animals. Here in Uganda, Elgon is a little gem on the Kenyan / Ugandan border well worth the time and effort to visit.
